Comparing the TION A Technology to UV Devices

The TION A device, in addition to its disinfection ability, also screens the air and defuses (eliminates using filters) any type of micro-organism, including extra-durable tuberculosis and mold spores. Furthermore, the air is being cleaned of dust, allergens, harmful gasses and other odors.

TION Clever’s ActionTION Clever

The air flows into the TION Clever device through the vents, goes through the filtering and straining systems, where it is disinfected and all types of micro-organisms (including mold spores) are eliminated. Then the clean air is streamed back into the device and is released to the space.

The pre-filter (1) captures coarse particles and dust and prevents wool, fur and dust from entering the device. While the air goes through the electro-static unit(2), all the contaminants get electrically charged and are efficiently gathered inside an HEPA filter (HEPA (3). The electro-static unit uses the ozone produced from the oxygen inside the germ concentrations in order to eliminate viruses, bacteria and mold. Thanks to the elimination of these factors, most of the HEPA filter remains sterile when activated, just as while changing the filter (which does not require any special preparations for discarding the used one). Therefore, it maintains complete micro-biological safety throughout the filtering process. The ozone entirely disintegrates into oxygen as it goes through the absorption filter (4), while simultaneously expediting the elimination reaction of the molecular chemical materials. The absorption filter was designed to filter out gaseous hazardous materials as well as bad odors. The concentration of ozone emitted by the device is not greater than the daily average throughout the device’s operation. Therefore, the device can be operated 24/7, even when other people are present, without any worries. When the device is being used, it does not change the micro-climate parameters of the space (such as humidity or temperature) nor the ion compound in the air. The remote control(5) allows for a convenient use of the unit.

Maintaining the TION A Device

One TION Clever device is enough to efficiently clean and disinfect a space of up to 18 meters squared. The optimal number of people per one device in a space is three. The device can be installed on the wall or moved to other spaces with a special mobile base (Option M). When the device is installed on the wall, the best place to position it is on the wall furthest from the entrance or any windows. The distance from the floor to the device’s intake duct should be at least one meter.

“Activate and Forget” Mode

There is no need to wipe down lamps or keep a time log. The elimination of micro-organisms in the filters guarantee the sterility of all replaceable parts, which cancels out the need for special waste means. The body of the TION Clever device is made of plastic which is resilient to all of the device’s processes.

Use

The device’s noise level does not exceed 40 dB(A), which matches the hygiene standards of medical centers and makes using TION Clever extremely comfortable, both during the day and the night. The device will not disturb the patients sleeping in the space. The device’s recommended mode is around the clock, 24/7. The device is equipped with a remote control which allows you to install it even right under the ceiling.

Replaceable Filters for TION Clever Device TION Clever

The maintenance of the TION Clever includes regular cleaning of the electro-static unit, and changing the pre-filter and HEPA filter which gather up all the contaminants. All the replaceable components come together and include filters. The maintenance frequency changes according to the level of air pollution in the space (mostly once every six months), according to the service agreement the client signs after the sale. A signal on the device’s dashboard will alert you about 30 days before the filters have to be replaced.
